Ordered an ebay front mount intercooler with the dimensions of 550x180x65mm, the one i already had is just too big and i dont want to hack up my m5 front bumper so at this point in time it makes sense to order a smaller one.

Great write up so far, following with interest, shame I didn't spot this before, as we were just down your neck of the woods last week. I'd just about give my right knacker to be able to do this to mine. Keep up the good work.....

Ill just use normal alloy piping to begin with, might polish it later on. Just want to get this thing running now. I miss driving it.

Good news is that it fits

I little bit of massaging some metal (with a grinder) around the inlet and outlets and it should work fine.

Looks good, make sure you duct it to the opening in the bumper to stop air going around it.
