Ordered an ebay front mount intercooler with the dimensions of 550x180x65mm, the one i already had is just too big and i dont want to hack up my m5 front bumper so at this point in time it makes sense to order a smaller one.
Looking good mate![]()

Great write up so far, following with interest, shame I didn't spot this before, as we were just down your neck of the woods last week. I'd just about give my right knacker to be able to do this to mine. Keep up the good work.....
Now this weekend i can now actually do the whole intake side of things.
nice, its always fun when goodies arrive.
are you doing stainless or aluminum piping for it ?
Is that going in the grill under the bumper?

I little bit of massaging some metal (with a grinder) around the inlet and outlets and it should work fine.

zip ties mounting the intercooler. JDM as funk![]()
lol only the best
Looks good, make sure you duct it to the opening in the bumper to stop air going around it.
