As posted in the other thread, I expect your car would be getting around 14 to 16l/100km in city driving (more if you drive it hard).

    Highway travel 10-11l/100km.s

Those 'fuel saver maxx' have absolutely NO effect. They will not achieve anything!!!!

After turbo, you'd expect it to drink more, but again, how much more depends on your right foot.

Fuel-savers definately do nothing - well, I highly doubt it - can you please describe them to me.

Stop-Start city traffic could be up around 20+l/100km I guess - depends on how thick the traffic is and how much time you spend sitting in it...

It does sound like your car is using a bit much petrol though.

If you are going through $10 every 20k's, your fuel tank is leaking.

Not sure if your car has an electronic instrument cluster or not..... if it does, try disconnecting your speed sensor and cleaning up the contacts with a brush and some WD40 - it plugs into the side of your differential.

If that doesn't work, do the same with the connections at the back of your intrument cluster (this may involve the removal of your steering wheel).

try changing your fuel filter & maybe putting in Premium. Also those injector cleaners might help. try redline fuel cleaner..
i know those 3.5litre bmw's do take quite a bit of fuel...
