The other thing about the 458 is the designers must have been fans of Werner Heisenberg.

You see the 458's instruments are electronic and you can have the speedo OR the satnav display, but not both at the same time. (At least thats what Clarkson said on Top Gear)

So you can know where you are or how fast you are going, which is eerily reminiscent of the Heisenberg uncertainty principle.

I guess it could be worse, they could have been fans of Erwin Schrödinger

    Cheers,
    Iain

They'd have to install catproof upholstery

Saw a grey of these in Bridge Rd yesterday. The numberplate was, ummm, 458.

The thing about having the speedo or the satnav isn't correct. If you've got the satnav going the speed is displayed below it. You just don't get a big fancy dial like normal.

Having said that, I can't believe they couldn't come up with a better system than that!
