Exclamation Victoria Police Crush First Vehicle Under Hoon Laws; Even Tougher Legislation Propose

Now I have to admit that I found it a LITTLE bit satisfying to see one less Commodoof in the world, but don't say you weren't warned - drive safely and responsibly out there, and keep the shenanigans for the track/DECA/paddock...

I'd rather just get out and kill myself before being in an accident in that..

poor guy probs did about 3 attempted drifts in the wet and got caught every time.

dumbass governments talk about recycling and saving the world and reducing carbon footprint etc etc, then they go and crush a perfectly straight car that is probably one of the most commonly used in the country. good job.

I agree. Very short sighted Victorian government. Why not strip the car and sell the spare parts?

Btw that video is no deterrent. They need to have a reenactment of some Muzza in a VL drifting on suburban streets getting caught by the cops then cut to him watching his pride and joy being crushed, his mates and his hot little sister (legal of course) holding him back. Then let him recover the fluffy dice at the end.
    Ben.

id just like there to be a bit more leniancy for stuff that techncially could be hooning but is more an accident. im still learning rwd but theres a off camber (or whatever you call it) roundabout where when i went around it one wet night at about 15 k's the car went completly sideways, would be gutted if i lost my car for something like that...

You need to hire more people to strip the parts. It is not worth it, there is hardly anything in it for them.
Other option is sell the car to junkers, again you need to employ and develop a system for such. Gain? Hardly anything again.

Training SES is a very good thing, I don't think there's anything else more practical. Once they use it for training purposes though, I doubt it would be in fair enough condition to sell... Look at those massive pliers (for lack of a better term hahahahhaa)!!!!
Then crush it and recycle the metal. Gain? Much more than previous two.
