New WORK wheels on the M5 - pics

Well after a long wait for the Work GS-1's (from Japan via NZ ?!) they finally arrived and a week later are on the car.
Tyres ended up being P Zeros (still not sure how .. but...) from Motorsport Tyres in Vic'. (great service)
    Specs -Wheels 2 piece GS-1's 20 x 9 (et +6) , 20 x 10.5 (et 25 , should have gone 28 !)
    - Tyres P- Zero 255/35 and 295/30
Wheels ooze quality build and finish, Pirellis are supprisingly quiet and dont tramline. The 295 rears are about 30mm wider than the Falken 285's ? Resulting with me having to attack the inner guard and plastic lining with the trusty angle grinder !!! Upside is they are exactly the same OD as the fronts. (plus they look so faaaaaaaaaaat !!)

The look may be a little "Pimped" for some, I initially thought more 300C than M5 but they have grown on me, better than the TSW's anyways

    Some pics 4 ewes

Money definately well spent! That looks absolutely fantastic. Can you tell me how the pirellis handle?? I used to work with these Pirelli's a lot but never really found out how good they were. I need to find a tyre that will perform, not be noisy and give me some decent mileage. My bridgestone RE001 are great on the road but the fronts are almost worn out at 20,000kms

M5's come with guards already rolled (folded back on its self) the problem is where the rear bumber (plastic) meets the metal guard 1/2 way down the rear side, this junction sticks out about 15 mm into the wheel well ... enter Mr Angle Grinder !!

Thanks for all the +'ve comments (thought it may have looked a little "Gangsta" ?)

Factory calipers. "BMW" sticker idea stolen from the Mrs 135 (came with same sticker already on calipers)

More pics you say ? OK a few more at the risk of being repetitive

    Cheers
