Rotors and pads- squeels on wheels or not ?

I'm going to be changing my rotors and pads and was thinking of using RDA rotors and Infinity pads both of which I've used before on other vehicles with no problems.

However It's come to my attention that BMWs can be little bitches when it comes to the brakes and can give endless squeeling and groaning problems if they don't get what they want.

I'm sick to the back teeth of getting brake crap on my pants so I am reluctant to fit soft steel rotors and filthy pad euroshit brake parts .

Has anyone got any gems of wisdom or experiances regarding brakes they'd care to share before I go heaving more bucks out the window ?

Thanks for that , wouldn't know the product name offhand ? I seem to recall I had some blue silicon brake shim antisqueel stuff ages ago , you've answered my question anyway insomuch that anti squeel stuff will work , on some cars--a Rover SDi that I had for example , it didn;t matter what you did they just squeeled , even with thier own OE rotors and pads.

I was worried mine would squeal too, the noise is from the metal backing of the pad rubbing on the caliper.

a decent layer of antisqueel, and no noise

I will find the brand that i got when i go out to the garage(its raining atm) i got it for autobarhn and it is in a clear bottle and its orange.

performance friction pads are ment to be really good
you can buy dustless pads aswell

aslo greenstuff pads are ment to be the tits of street pads but they are expensive aswell
im not to sure if they are dusty or not but im pretty sure e30's love them and don't groan or squeel with them

so you think a car knows the difference of different setups? if the same rotors and pads don't squeel in a commodore/nissan etc, why would they be different in a BMW? that makes no sense at all
    cheers

I hear way more local/azn cars with squeeling brakes then bmw's anyway

I have RDA slotted rotors and Akebono Euro Ceramic pads and its fine, absolutely 0 dust / noise

Certain cars have certain requirements and will react often unfavourably if the requirements aren't met or are altered so just because something works fine on a Falcador does not mean it will work fine on a BMW or a WRX or a billy cart , what makes no sense is that you didn't know that before you posted.

Wouldn't be because theres a shit load more local/azn (?) cars around perchance ? / just for the record I've never heard any BMW with squeeling brakes that I can recall.
