    Navigation Run 6th June

Hey all its on again, but with a difference!

For this, you'll all receive a set of checkpoints 5 minutes prior to departure. Each checkpoint will predominantly be worth 1 point, with a few bonus points along the way.

If you finish out of order, 1 point is lost - this is to emphasize that it is definitely not a race as there is no prize or extra points for returning first - in fact, you would lose a point if you finish first but didn't depart first, but also in the event that this happens due to u-turns / wrong turns, it can both level out the playing field and mix it up a bit.

    Bonuses:

    10 points for dirtiest car

    10 points for cleanest car

10 points for most interesting photo of you, your car, and a checkpoint in one shot - photo taken by navigator and voted for at the venue

5 points per person for coming along in costume, maximum 2 per car (this MUST be worn at the pub - and as such needs to still be appropriate in public lol)

At the venue, the person with the highest number of points gets their lunch + 2 drinks shouted by the rest of the crew. So, you can view this two ways: Pessimistic- Ahh man an extra $2 or $3! or Positive - woohoo free lunch if I participate and win! (I'd view the 2nd option very favourably!)

This has been done successfully in other states so I'm aiming to match their success and make this a great day full of fun, banter and good food! Rest assured the roads you'll be traveling will be the same style as every other run!

What to bring: An accomplice / navigator, modern street directory, pen/pencil and of course, cameras!

Meet point: Burnside Village Carpark - top level.

Meet time: 9am 6th June, departing 9:20am in 1 minute 30 second intervals, hopefully also on the 6th June

Eats: German Arms Hotel (definitely a favourite)

    Route description: The usual mix

On the route, no need this time to keep an eye on the car in front of you - you'll be wanting to stay ahead of the one behind (hopefully, there won't be many running together for this!)

    Great idea Benny.

Time to dress up like 2 preists (Aka Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jnr in Cannonball run)....

I should be there barring any unforseen circumstances or plans (that is the weekend after I get back into Australia).

Got the weekend off work to spend down at the beach with some mates... I'll try and get back to Adelaide in time for this, could possibly bring a couple more cars along for the fun. No euros though.
