    Garage "How-To's"

With the update of the forum, and subsequently the Garage has updated to the latest, there might be some questions on how to do a few things, change settings etc. One user brought up the fact that the Fuel fill-up was still in Imperial.

To change this, you will need to go to your Garage, select and edit your car.

From there, look for the Fuel Record entry, and change it to whatever you like.

So now when you add your Fuel Record, its in Litres and Price/Litre

Not so much of a 'how-to', rather an update to the Garage. There was a bug with the software that didn't allow sub 1-minute laptimes, which has now been fixed.

How to add a car to your Garage

    • From the top navbar, select "Garage' then "Add Vehicle", as shown

    • Then, at the next screen, fill out all the details pertaining to your car

Please note: The term 'trim' isn't the interior trim of the car, its moreso a 'style' or 'sub-model' of that particular model. We don't use it here, so there is no need to fill it out.

You will notice there are some required fields, and there is also an entry there for if your car isn't listed. The Makes and Models get approved by us with each new model put in. Apart from that, fill out the rest of the fields as you see fit, upload photo's if you want, and then click "Add Vehicle".

Your car will now appear in the garage next to everyone else's and you can start tracking your modifications.

How to add a modification to your car in the Garage

Once you have added your car to the Garage, it will appear as a pulldown on the main Garage screen.
    • Select it, and click "Add Modification" as shown

    • You will be presented with another window with a listing of fields to enter for that modification. If you find that your "Manufacturer", and "Product" aren't listed, click on the "Not Listed" link and fill out all the details. These added links are not put in a queue for approval, they will appear straight away.

The "Purchased From" and "Installed By" fields are also user-definable, so if you need to add entries to that field, please do so. Fill out the rest of the details, add a pic if you like, and click "Add Modification" and the modification will appear with your car.
