WOW - that gives a whole new meaning to being anal about a car!! What a project.... The completed car would be just like it left the assembly floor.

I can only dream of having enough cash and time to do something like that.

wouldnt it be easier to build a time machine and just buy a brand new m3 instead?

I've heard of blue-printing an engine, but blue-printing a whole car???
Hopefully someone'll do the same for an E46 soon- instant pictorial parts catalogue.

    Cheers

I thought the car was in Spain. In the text there was a line about no rust thanks to the Spanish weather (no snow and no salt).

'Bilder von dem Chassis. Der ist in einem super Zustand, kein Rost dank des spanischen Wetter (und kein Schnee und dann kein Saltz)'

    Malware?

I didn't see any ads at all? No pop-ups, nothing.

That's is something special going on with that car ~ and I can understand it in way, certainly. If the car is a definite "keeper", why not? I know I would if I ended up with the car that I knew would never be sold ~ or at least kept for many a year.

Yeah I had a giant german pop-up when I first clicked on the page which kept following you if you scrolled down. I clicked the little close button and it went away no issues.

What a project! I think that car will be better than new when he's finished with it. Amazingly detailed job!
