Good evening from Burwood East Vic

I inadvertently joined up with the Woodend cruise last Sunday, and as much as I would have liked to spend the day driving with you all, but I was on my way to Mildura. It was great to see such a diverse range of cars in one group, and I did feel a little embarrassed that my dusty car was pulling the image of the group down
Thanks to Trent for sending me the club details.

In October last year I purchased my first BMW, a 2000 740iL (E38). It was a daunting event given that I knew nothing about them at all. Anyway purchased it site unseen at a Pickles Auction, and although there were a few surprises, so far the experience has been pretty positive. An impressive car (for me anyway) and way more luxurious and equipped than my previous vehicles.

Anyway, I hope to get to know you though the forum and at any Cruises that I can make it to. Cheers

Cool Off with the Styling 61 and on with the Styling 176

Well I picked up a new used set of Styling 176 rims (19x9 & 19x10) off eBay, here we are before.

This is what it looks like now

To the casual observer (aka my wife) nothing has changed.

At some point I am going to sell off the original 16" rims, let me know if you are interested, 16x7.5 with +20 offset.

Very nice. I wanted to get an E38 for my wife, but she preferred the X. Go figure.

    Welcome.

The new wheels make all the difference. Now lower her 2 inches.

    Cocaine is never a solution.

Unless of course, you dissolve it in water.
