Yeah totally hated the bridges, couple of times i bottomed out approaching them, which only told me that i really need to stiffen up the rear more.

Yeah no probs on the waiting to catch up, I was just out to enjoy the day, although car was better on the highway and smoother roads, than the twisty, bumpy, pop-holed back roads that we came across.

That and that ass-hole in the white Excel that almost drifted across towards me on that bend, i seriously wasnt sure if i was going to be able to take evasive action to miss him when he started floating across towards me...IDIOT!!!

I enjoyed the drive, there were some really nice windy but bumpy roads. Great scenery too. I've got some photos in colour too, but havn't finished the roll yet, here's the B&W.

Hi all, I'm new here. Just want to say looked like a great day and some awesome pics to prove it. I love the roads and scenery out that way and i'm extremely jeallous i wasn't able to come along. Would've been nice to represent the Mercs somewhat too, with all those beautiful Beemers stealing the limelight .

Hopefully meet you guys on the next trip (Fingers crossed).

I'm assuming the Lion's Road? What a fabulous bit of road that is. I've only done it once, on a quiet weekday. Loved it.

Yes The Lions Road. It is starting to break up alot more than it used to be. They need to resurface it but it will never happen. The road from Kyogle to Uki is however, now very very good with its new surface.
