What about this spot?? Just off Old Pac Highway....head along Brooklyn Road....then head toward McKell Park where the carpark is. Although, I'm not sure how busy that carpark gets on Sundays??

that car park is one of the main launch points for boats and the ppls with hollidays houses on the water so its a no go on the weekend!

Also Ive been there on weekends with mates and had afew bbq's there... theres lots of space for parking our cars

OK, here is what I found this morning at 10am.
Heading north from Hornsby on the Pacific Highway, the Truckstop is 13 km, nestled in between the north and south carraigeways.
Lots of open space with easy access from the north and south.
Opportunity for a post meet squirt on the twisties or F3.
Disadvantage is that it is very open with no shade or shelter, no refreshments.
In my opinion, perfect for our purposes.
lol, wouldnt you want a place to BBQ aswell? Might aswell hideout under silverwater bridge.
Theres a place in Ryde that has bbq's, toilets
also: anyone have a cheap/ free =P rear valance for the E30 the facelift one... i wana butcher one for my prefacelift...
