BMW Own (GB) You need to register 1st
USA Parts Catalogue Type you last 7 digits from your VIN number where it says "Serial Number"
I'll make it a sticky for a week or so to allow everyone to see it.

Have you used both ETK,s are they the same or diffrent?
ie: i can view parts diffrently etc,,
Useful site, thanks for posting it up
Hi DCR,
I was going to post the parts catalogue link but found that you already had it there. Just one point though - it's not just the USA parts catalogue. It covers European models as well and RHD.
I've never actually used the resulting part numbers to buy parts in Australia though. Has anyone done that and can vouch that if you take a part number from this site into an Australian dealer, they match?

I bought a set. Excellent service from the seller (bought on 2nd delivered to my house on 5th). They came in a nice CD holder and seem good. The electrical ones (2 CD) don't cover the E46 but the technical ones and parts ones do. The parts one is the same as the on-line link to the ETK that is the subject of this thread. As to whether they're worth the money - it depends what you're looking for. They won't give you as much detail to do things for yourself that a good workshop manual will give you. They are really meant for dealers and even list the recommended hours of repair for various jobs. Good info on fault codes if you've got a tool to read them.
