not been to one of these before.
    whats the deal?

just rock up and put a group of cars on the lawn?
or is there entry fees and sign ups and that?
and is the autokana just for a bit of fun, or real serious and competitive.

yeah normally you just rock up and you get directed to the display area for your type of car. cost to put your car on show is usually $10 or there abouts. I've not put a car on show there for a year or 2 now though so i could be wrong. just go to the start point at parliament place and find out what's happening, and whatever you do, don't follow the merc club up.

    worst

    drive

    ever!

the autokhana is just shits and giggles, it is timed and there's usually a few properly fast car doing it but nobody takes it too seriously. just don't be a knob and start dropping skids and spinning out on every corner. pretty sure you need a cams lisence though. you can sort that out on the day i think

there's usually a big gathering at parliament place in west perth at about 8-8:30 i think. the merc club run the show so maybe check their website for details.

things get underway in northam at about 10 so that'd be the time to get there.

i'm not sure if i'm going to make it or not this year. looking like i might not have a car hah

Go to http://mwa.mercedes-benz-clubs.com/ and click on the gcd emblem for details.
Also browse other club websites as many arrange their own separate cruises.
