    UPDATE!....
OK just a written one no pics.....ive put my camera down somewhere in the workshop and cant be assed looking for it now.

So i said i was gunna leave the car alone this year.....it appears im an addict. and since there isnt a rehab for car addicts ill just have to keep on doin it.

Ive pulled off all the turbo set up. i need to fix some leaks and i want to polish the turbo.
Ive pulled out my seats as im putting in some new sexier one's.
Ive pulled out the fuel rail to fit new injectors.
Since i had to pull all the shit off the intake manifold to get the fuel rail off, and im not goin to drive for 6 months ive pulled the whole intake manifold off and im going to have a go and porting and polishing it since i have all the gear i need here at home. im also going to polish all the pipeing.
My Ecu is half wired but it isnt in a hurry.
will have pic in the coming weeks.

I did a bit of polishing this weekend. cleaned up the fuel rail and turbo.
The turbo isnt 100% done yet still some little bits that are tricky to get to.

    Before.

    After.

    fuel rail.

Looks good Make sure you clean out the fuel rail spotlessly as you are post filter so can't afford to have anything inside it.

    Small update.
    Took me ages to polish.
I have just remembered that last year i was keen enough to enter my self into a drag day out at willowbank for next month and allready paid.
So rather then slowly over my weekends work on the car ive had to make it a every night project after work to try get it ready in time.

Ive just started to put the engine back together today after finishing turbo and rockers. still have to finish intake. and put fuel rail back in with new injectors.

so this is how she looks now.

Shaved all the badging off. ive since boged it all smooth.

Painted half the turbo black as i thought it would look interesting and something different.

I think it looks pretty good.

finally got some space in the shed to move the merc in a get a little work done. i only really had half a day this weekend to work on it so i pulled out the intercooler and radiator and disconected every thing from the engine that was connected to the car.

    500hp atw's or FW?

    I had a TO4 custom, ie 60-1 front wheel, cropped P-trim rear wheel, 0.84 A/R rear, and a 0.7 A/R front.

Made 400 hp atw's on 23psi. Wasn't super laggy, was only a plain bearing turbo though.

For a good all round turbo, I'd suggest something like the GT35R, BB will bring it on boost a bit quicker and the 'R's actually have a newer design wheels in them.
