Based on comprehensive seat of the pants testing, is is quicker or does it have more torque?

Congrats by the way, it looks awesome.

    Cheers

Thanks guys.. yeah I'd have liked to have been able to hide the cooler

Seats of tha pants.. Compared to what? The M30? There is NO comparison. It now pins you into the seat and things start happening at warp speed

I logged almost a peak of 22psi last night! With that sort of boost, continually I'd be expecting around 300hp atws!

Remind me to to call SHOTGUT when your E30 is finished, just so that i can see what its llike to be in an insanely fast car....

Im guessing now Ben that it'll be a while before we can whipe the grin off your face too eh?

Once I have the Boost cut sorted on the 7 I think it could be classed as a quick car If I get it sorted before the weekend I might drag it out to willowbank and have a play

I'd be thinking 13's not sure where in the 13's though.

Visited my friends at Pirtek today. and have a couple of lines I'll be using to connect the toyota tranny cooler lines to the BMW transmissoin cooler

Whilst there I also got a neat little brass screw type valve that I'll be using as a bleed for the little hose on the top of the radiator hot tank. This will allow me to bleed out any gas and get water to the top of the tanks

Damnit! Stop tempting me to get 2jz.

*1jz is enough.... 1jz is enough.... 1jz is enough....*

Can you see what the future will bring?

This doesn't do it justice though... I'll be fitting a 22inch resonator on saturday and a small cone restrictor in the exhaust to try and keep the boost spike down... This should make it quieter I hope and fix the overboost issue

Thank you No drifitng or burnouts. With the 265's on the back it doesn't even lose traction.. I love it

If I told you that I'd have to kill you

Without including the cost of connecting the A/C, but including everything else, exhaust, bends, cooler, CAT, hoses, mod plate approval, mounts tailshaft etc etc etc.. It came in at less then $5k. Not including money from any items removed. If I sell the M30... less then $4k.

not bad, could be the way to go with older 735i's. will be interesting. you know some of your designs for the custom pieces you got done could be interesting to get a hold on.

I didn't take any jigs of the engine nor gearbox mounts Rob. I didn't have to time to stuff around making jigs for them.

All the stuff I made was one off...

    Update...

On my first full tank of fuel, I'm still reading jsut under 40 ( I'd say 100klms left) and have already gotten 500klms from the tank. A big whack of this is highway, but that's heaps more then I ever got from the M30
