Performance wise I'm not sure how this compares to other vehicles.. It's a bit hard to tell really...
This was just mashing the accelerator from a standstill and letting the auto change by itself etc. So nothing fancy.
Spent some time maknig a little enclosure with a meter and some plugs etc for my innovate WB02 meter early this week.
I need to mount the WB sensor in the exhaust and connect the Innovate to the meter and e-manage and can spend some time data logging and tuning![]()

LOL... around 5 secs to hit 100k/hr isnt too shabby mate.
Not like you have that 2j in an E30....
Well, not this one anyhow![]()
For a 1600kg + car that isn't too bad... Doesn't feel all that quick when dirving it in general.
Took a couple of images over the weekend when it was clean again...
Really hate these water restrictions, paint has turned bit funny in sports, needs a good clean back to bring the paint up to scratch again...
one word... WOW!
and that video... omg.
Thanks
Unfortunately it seems it's busted another gearbox, so I'll be changing it this weekend hopefully, depending on when my shift kitted valve body arrives.

I've managed to have 2nd gear slip in 3-toyota auto's now. 1 in in the soarer and I've killed 2 in the 7 since the beginning of the year.
I have Michael at MV automatics donig a shift kitted valve body for me right now, so I'll fit another box on saturday and nurse it until the shift kit is fitted, which should solve the burning 2nd's bands issue
It's a mixture of a heavy car, heavy foot and boost
*EDIT* Well replaced the gearbox and have since fitted the shift kit... All I can say is 'positive engagement'The car changes gears faster and firmer then you can change flat shifting in a manual
The only drawback is that even at light loads you get a bit of a shunt when it changes gears. I can live with this if it means saving gearboxs though

Just a quick update. I fitted a 750i 3.15 ratio LSD to replace the 3.64 factory open centre diff.
The only modification needed was to shorten the tailshaft by 15mm in order for it to fit the diff in with the extra nose length over the std diff.
CV's, brackets, etc all bolted up perfectly, even the VSS plugged straight in.
I've noticed the car is 'nicer' to drive now, I can chug around real easy and it seems the turbo's have responded well to the extra load associated with the taller ratio.
On a side note, the car will almost hit 100kph in first now at redline

looks like that was fairly easy ben, yeah i dont think i would mind the lower ratio in a car like yours. Not everything is about quartermile times!
It hums along under 2000rpm at roughly 110kph...
Tailshaft seems smooth this time around too, no discernable vibration...
Also collected my springs today, and will grab some brake pads hopefully get them in this weekend and will hopefully visit Williowbank for a play next sat![]()
oo next sat ay ill have to try sort my self out for then, and get my ass kicked by you lol. looks good man. i need a new dif (no idea what one for my car) and some new front springs made up lol, good to see some one who just does stuff rather then just say it. look foward to hearing your times.
best of luck

190ETT Back soon
Springs are in... Wasn't as difficult as I had foreseen.
Rears went in without even removing the wheels. Fronts I just compressed the factory spring and dropped the strut out of the strut top and then after D/Cing the sway bar you can lean the strut top out of the guard just enough to replace the spring.
Back sits nicely, I'm happy with it, rear shocks are bit iffy, could go with replacing sometime, Front sits a little low for my liking. I'd prefer it be higher be around 10-15mm as the Intercooler is fairly precarious atm.
I also finally got the WB02 into the car. The car sits 14.7 at idle, and runs lean on the first turbo (14.7-15) adn then drops down to around 11.8 when the second turbo comes on line.
I'll be connecting and logging tonight so I can get a better idea as to what the engine is doing as atm it vaires from 1st - 2nd gear and I can't rev the vehicle out in 2nd gear anywhere as will be going too fast.
I might have to put it on the dyno to tune it![]()
Wow second would be stupid quick! Just do it
If it were me id put it on the dyno, at least then u no that its not goin to burn valve/melt a piston and u can see/tell us how much power it makes.
