Hi Guys, I was about to do this on Sunday and realised I can't see the top mount nut through the extractors ont he driver side. Passenger side seems easy enough. Anyone done this before and have any tips for me? Cheers, Will.
As the E30 is ageing many things start to need replacing. Rubber parts especially need attention as at over 20 years of age the rubber deteriorates. The Odometer is no different as some of the cogs are made of a rubber compound. When the cogs are aged the teeth simply fall off under normal wear....

Heyas, wondering if anyone in brisbane has a Valeo alternator to fit a 318i E36, 91? I've done abit of ringing around and all i can find is Bosch ones, even from german wreckers and euro dismantlers at northgate. I was told it wasnt worth getting recon'd but i figure thats my only...

Mods should this be added as a seperate DIY or linked to the original post I made? Well three years and four months later (see what I mean about things moving slowly for me with the car? Honestly, rocks erode faster than I get things done on this car) I have finally obtained a brand new pair...

Hi Guys, After a bit of searching and messing around I have finally gotten my 97 E39 to play burnt CD's through the factory stacker, saving me about $5-600 as I won't need to buy an iPod and harnesses anymore. The stacker I'm referring to is the early Alpine/BMW Stacker Part # 82 11 1 469 404...
Yesterday when I opened my door I heard a 'ping' sound. The door would no longer stay in the open position. After a quick phone call to John at BM Autoworks I knew that the door brake had gone and needed to be replaced. Did not seem too hard to do, so I went ahead and ordered the part (51 21 8 161...

Sorry if this seems trivial, but it might help someone. E32's fuel filters are a piece of cake to changeover. Jack up the rear drivers side wheel. Use a Safety jack .. or bricks, whatever. Remove the wheel. You now have access to the fuel filter. BTW they cost about 11 bucks at your local supplier,...

I wanted to mount a fire extinguisher to my front seat - preferably using BMW parts. I got the mount to suit electric and sports seats (72 60 9 400 643). If you have manual seats you need a different bracket (72 60 9 413 436). After taking the seat out the bracket was easy to install. Just had...
