So... my e30 was off the road as the connector pipe failed, luckily I was local and drove the car home all the while keeping a vigilant eye on the temperature. I took this opportunity to delete the throttle body heater plate and the mess under the intake and also do some other minor things while waiting for parts. Some wheel studs... next time I'll get black, but for now it's okay since they're hidden by the wheel caps. I used three per corner ...
Some parts arrived today from Pelican which took about a week to arrive (they were all in stock parts) so I decided to attach a normal non IS lip that I got off a parts car. It's a bit of a shame because in the past I've always disliked the IS lip but it has really grown on me lately except of course the price. Some lip's better than no lip as they say; which of course... they don't... No lip ...

Finally found some time and nice weather to change out my damaged passenger guard. I went to a dent specialist and they quoted me $600 to iron it out and $400 to repaint through one of the paint/panel shops they do business with so $1000 all up- made me cringe... Tried another panel shop and they quoted $400 to straighten and paint and an additional $100 to blend the door in, which I thought wasn't too bad seeing as though the passenger door is surface ...
